Lawyers agree
Answered .  "Weaponized litigation" is sometimes used as a slang term for the strategic use of any legal tool (like Domestic Violence (DV) court or Baker and Marchman Acts) as a weapon, a sword, primarily to accomplish some other legal objective (like getting exclusive use of a house, or gaining custody of children or leveraging one's immigration status, etc).  I discourage folks from engaging in this behavior.  Judges tend to see through such shenanigans, they usually do so very quickly and easily and they have the authority to meet out justice as they deem just and appropriate under the circumstances.

That said, I just Googled "weaponized litigation" and got exactly zero hits.

Although I suspect that your lawyer used it as a term of art, I suggest that you ask her/him what s/he meant in your case.
