Deputy Sheriff Arrested for DUI Accident & Child Endangerment after Off-Duty Accident w/ BAC of .111 ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet Gwinnett County, GA Senior Deputy Anthony C. Pesaresi (yeah, that's him below).  Tony was arrested for DUI and 2 counts of child endangerment stemming from his BAC of .111, which was registered after he was involved in a "not at fault" accident in his own personal vehicle while off duty.

Although Tony did not cause the accident, he was legally intoxicated, which is a no-no, especially with kids in the car.  Memo to the Folks:  Just because it is not illegal to drink and drive (** it is only illegal to drive with a BAC of .08+ or while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances to the extent that your "normal faculties" are impaired - well, that is the FL standard anyhow) does not render it a good idea.  And if you have both been drinking and have children in the car that you intend to drive then its a piss poor idea.  Not only are you risking your children's safety (in this case the accident was not Tony's fault... He was an innocent victim to another driver's antics), perhaps their lives, and your arrest (for felony charges), but you are also setting a bad example for your kids, who will likely model their behavior based upon what they learn from watching you, the parent.

Memo to (soon-to-be-former) Deputy Pesaresi:  You are a cop and of all folks should know better.  My advise is that you seek treatment /. therapy.  Not only is it good for you but it will likely be good for both your court case and your imminent IA investigation.

When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".

Be smart{er than Gwinnett County, GA Senior Deputy Anthony C. Pesaresi }: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.

At Michael A. Haber, P.A. "Its all about reasonable doubt"!
