What does "Direct File" mean in Criminal Felony Court? ~ Best Answer on AVVO ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Q:     Direct File, means what?  I'm sorry but I don't understand the meaning for "Direct File", it is listed and on several of the charges it says "no", does that mean there is no solid rock hard evidence for those charges? And the charges that have "Direct File", yes, means the state has physical prove for those charges?? This is for criminal, felony charges, if that makes a difference....

Answered "Direct file" in Florida generally refers to the process by which juveniles are bound up to adult court.
