So some person was innocently driving around when s/he observed a vehicle swerving all over several lanes of traffic and prompting a call to 911. In the interim, the swerving vehicle comes to a stop, the driver exits, walks behind to the driver window of the vehicle behind it and proceeds to tee-off on that other driver for following her too closely. She, the yelling driver then goes to the passenger seat of her vehicle, the former passenger assumes driving responsibilities but, before they get anywhere, the cops arrive on scene and are debriefed by both the 911 caller and the driver who was assaulted.
When they make contact with the occupants of the erratic vehicle the cops determine that 49 y/o Michele Ann Rivera, who had no driver license, 3 prior DUI convictions, a conviction for leaving the scene of an accident and another for refusal to submit to a breath test, was the original erratic driver.

She had trouble walking, was unable to complete roadside tests, and an open bottle of vodka was found in her purse. While she tried to be chivalrous and accept complete responsibility for driving, she became less than pleasant in short order, becoming loud an verbally abusive and ultimately lifting her skirt, flashing her bare ass at the cops and stating "This is the best you'll ever have".
The passenger turned driver, 68 y/o Stancel Ganus Kinsley, was also arrested for DUI (his first) for his part in getting behind the wheel while legally intoxicated / impaired, having failed roadside sobriety testing and blowing over the legal limit.
The arrest, which occurred at 1:13 pm on a Sunday afternoon, was precipitated by the couple having started in celebrating Stancel's 68th birthday. Per Michele they began their binge with vokda and cranberry juice at 8:00 am that morning, although Stancel claims that they waited until 10:00 am for the festivities to commence.
The lessons here are clear:
- Don't drink and drive;
- Don't drink and drive if you have been arrested for DUI previously;
- Don't drink and drive if you have been arrested for DUI twice previously
- Don't drink and drive if you have been arrested for DUI thrice previously;
- Don't drive if you have no driver license;
- Don't have an open bottle of vokda in your purse;
- Don't have an open bottle of vokda in your purse when you are driving;
- Don't have an open bottle of vokda in your purse when you are drinking and driving;
- Don't get out of your car and tee-off on another driver / have a road rage incident;
- Don't have a Chinese Fire-Drill when you have been drinking;
- Don't mouth off to the cops; and
- Keep your ass in your clothes.
When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is: "Don't do it! Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".
Be smart{er than Michele Ann Rivera and Stancel Ganus Kinsley}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220, **ARRESTED, **305DUI, **MIAMIDUI, **MIAMILAW or **HABERLAW.
