Early this morning, at 5:30 am on Friday, March 13th, 2015, in Northeast Miami-Dade County (at about NE 200th Street & 6th Court) two (2) police cruisers were ablaze about a block apart from one another. One (1) was a Hallandale Beach PD cruiser and the other a Miami-Dade County PD squad car (you can watch video news footage here).
Wtf is wrong with people? Is this the "work" of a madman?
Is it a warped "Friday the 13th" prank?
Or is it, as I suspect, a cowardly and misguided protester? Because if it is then you, my stupid friend, are effectively working against your own cause, compounding the negativity. poking the bear and setting yourself up for a serious beat-down, whether literal (by the cops) or figurative (by the system).
You may not like / be happy with the current state of police-citizen relations but that does not give you the right to commit crimes (arson, felony mischief and other offenses), to endanger others (who knows what calamity may have occurred had your fires sparked others, not to fail to mention that there are now two (2) less vehicles to respond to emergencies) and to unnecessarily and unreasonably cost the taxpayers money (those cars need to be removed and replaced). Finally, you have, no doubt, encouraged whatever "bad" cops that are out there to take out their aggression on some unwitting and possibly undeserving person (i.e. your display of "getting even" for whatever it is that you think you that were anointed to remedy will cost someone else, whereas you, my friend, are a jackwaggon who deserves to get caught, prosecuted and even a good old fashioned beatdown in the process).
