Meet 33 y/o Sylvia Mashiah. Yes, that's her smiling face below:
On Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at approximately 7:45 pm Sylvia drove her 2006 Ford Focus through the "Otay Mesa Port of Entry", a border crossing between Tijuana and San Diego.
Sylvia made it through the initial screening, being cleared to enter the US by CBP but, instead of proceeding along on her way into California she mistakenly drove her vehicle directly into a secondary screening lot, thereby subjecting her vehicle to a more thorough search. (Brainless, dumb move Sylvia...)
Unfortunately for Sylvia, once stand by K-9's alerted to her vehicle she was no longer free to leave, and 17 pounds of methamphetamine were found in her vehicle.
Memo to the folks: Don't be drug couriers: But, if you are going to do so despite my warning, then be smarter / pay more attention than Sylvia Mashiah about your illicit business.
