Drunk Man Keeps Female 911 Dispatcher on the Phone for 6 Minutes to Ask Her Out on a Date ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1



Take a look at Stephen Ramsey, yes that's him below....




Apparently Stephen, lonely and drunk, thought it an appropriate emergency to seek companionship / a date by dialing 911 and asking his operator out.  Stephen, banged up and booze-fueled, called 911 not once, not twice but three times, keeping his 911 dispatcher on the phone for six (6) precious minutes while he asked her out on a date and if she was "into handcuffs".




Folks who smoke pot simply do not do things like this.  They call Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut... but they do not call 911 (not once much less repeatedly).




Stephen was arrested and charged with "misuse of 911", a first degree misdemeanor (see Florida Statute 365.172(14) - (14) is all the way at the bottom of the link), making him the "DOTD" (Douche of the Day)  and earning him this award:




Memo to the Folks:  911 is for "emergency calls only".  If you are a lonely guy then go out and meet someone, or call an escort agency, or read a book, or do pretty much anything EXCEPT dialing 911 and proposing to your emergency dispatch operator....




Memo to Stephen Ramsey:  You really need to stop drinking, that and...
