Meet 22 y/o Adjani Jari Bryant (that's his mug shot below)....
Bryant was arrested shortly after the Walnut Creek, North Carolina Amphitheater's business office was robbed on Monday, July 13th, 2015.
Per the Raleigh, NC Police it was business as usual at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater on Monday, morning, June 13th when three (3) armed men wearing masks entered and ordered everyone to the ground. Per witness accounts it was likely an inside job as the robbers seemed to know where they were and what they were doing.
Cops say that a female employee of the Amphitheater called 911 shortly afterward and reported that the office had been robbed. She stated that "four of my employees (were) on the floor with guns to their head. I just had a gun to my head... I came in and all of these people were on the floor, so they knew where the money was kept." The armed robbers got $500k in cash out of the safe and also took the employees' cellphones and wallets before locking three (3) of them in a walk-in freezer and two (2) others in the cash room. But the cash that they took also got them caught, well it got one (1) of them caught anyhow.
Raleigh police report that one (1) of the backpacks that Bryant was carrying had apparently spilled a trail of cash that a K-9 was able to hit on, leading officers to a shed where they found clothes (which matched the witnesses' descriptions of the robbers) and Bryant, who now faces multiple armed robbery and kidnapping, as well as conspiracy charges. Although the other two (2) co-conspirators are still at large...
My prediction: Bryant's ship is sinking quicker than the Titanic. He will sing like a canary and rat out his co-conspirators in exchange for a plea deal which will get him out of prison some time before his 50th birthday.
Memo to Bryant: "Eye of the Sparrow"... Don't do the crime if you can't do the time...
Memo to Bryant continued (and Memo to the Folks): Don't ever - YES I MEAN NEVER - try to cut your own deal with the cops. Yes they have discretion and yes there are some things that they can deliver, but a guaranteed, etched in stone, contractual and legally binding deal is NOT one of those things. And yes... COPS CAN AND WILL LIE RIGHT TO YOUR FACE about that, promising you the world knowing fully well that they have no ability to deliver a thing. And what's worse than the fact that they can and will lie is that they, the cops, are permitted to lie to you. The Courts will not sanction them or punish them or even call them out on their lies. ONLY YOU CAN PROTECT YOU. SO PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE EVEN, BE QUIET, INVOKE AND SPEAK TO NO ONE BUT YOUR SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER. You bear the burden of protecting you; that is not the cop's job (their job is to arrest you and then to bleed you for every single gram of information that you are foolish enough to offer up for free). Don't sell your soul... or at a minimum don't sell your soul cheap. Snitches may get stitches, but sometimes it's worth the beating.
