How do you report a FL Judge for unethical conduct? ~ Chosen as "Best Answer" on AVVO ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Q:     I want to report a judge. How? And where?  A location? Is it the large office by FIU. I think that is the appellate courts, I think. I just want to add that judges are not special nor are they Gods. Just a few months ago in Broward County, a judge got arrested and removed from his position. Their education is not greater or above than my education (economics and finance). I have a problem with a judge. I don't like him and he behaves unethically. I want to screw him over.

Answered Below is a link to the JQC (Judicial Qualifications Commission) Complaint Form (this is what you fill out when you want to "report a Judge"), and below that is a link to their website:

That said, let me say something to you.  You are 100% correct that Judge's are
"not special nor are they Gods" (and believe me, in my nearly quarter of a century as a practicing criminal defense lawyer I can tell you that some of them fancy themselves and act as such, and as a lawyer who has to sit there and take it such behavior is really aggravating).  You are also spot on when you say that Judges should be called out when they behave unethically... and that is precisely what the JQC is there to do (to call out and to punish "bad" judges).  Reporting a Judge for unethical behavior is not only commendable, but one could argue that it is also your civic duty.  However, wanting to "screw him over" is neither a reasonable nor a responsible motive for reporting a Judge.  I am sure that you have a solid basis for your feelings but
you must recognize that we all have to take a beating now and again.  If your motive is revenge based then I would urge you not to go forward.  If you have more altruistic motives then please carry on.

That said I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question.
