A one (1) month old baby was raced to hospital after her twenty (20) y/o mother mixed her baby formula with vodka instead of water, but cops are calling it accidental and are not blaming mom for this one. Instead, they are blaming 22 y/o Brian Jones, mom's beau, who is pictured below...
Per mom, she mixed the formula with water from a bottle on the kitchen counter and fed her daughter on Monday evening, September 7th, 2015. Shortly afterward the baby's hands and toes became red and her legs started shaking, and by the time that she was admitted to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin the one (1) month old girl had a blood alcohol level of 0.294.
The mother, who has not been identified, told police that she was unaware that Jones had emptied out a bottle of water and replaced it with vodka. The mom told officers that she and Jones were at home when he asked if the child had been fed, and that he became furious when the mom told him that she had used the bottle, which, unbeknownst to Jones had filled with vodka. Jones is said to have yelled at the woman, telling her he had planned to take the alcohol out with him, before pushing, choking and then hitting her with the bottle, resulting in his arrest for strangulation and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest
The baby was placed in intensive care but is expected to be released from hospital this week. According to the police report, she drank around two ounces of vodka mixed with baby formula.
