Can I be arrested for stalking my EX for sending her money through her bank without her permission? ~ "Best Answer" on AVVO ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Q:     Can I be arrested for stalking my EX for sending her money through her bank without her permission?  Hello, 3 years ago I sent 2 mean letters to my ex's parents when I was suffering from undiagnosed Schizophrenia disorder. They were mean things about my EX. Now last week I sent my EX $1.00 through the bank when I found her under my old transfers. Can she have me arrested for stalking for this? I'm really scared I crossed the line. I sent the money to see if it was even a valid account, and it was meant to be nice and not mean. I won't ever contact her again after this.

Answered Do yourself a favor and stay away from your ex.  She is your ex for a reason.  Given your proffer two (2) appropriate adages come to mind:  1)  "No good deed goes unpunished" and 2) "Hell hath no fury...".

My advise:  Keep the past in the past or your future (which could include criminal charges for s
talking, harassment, assault, etc, and / or a civil domestic violence restraining order) might very well get quite u-g-l-y.

I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question.
