"The Drunk Knight" Stops a Would-be DUI by Taking Car Keys from Passed-Out Driver ~ Call MIchael A. Haber, Esq. # 1-888-SHARK-8-1

It's good to know that there are still some selfless folks out there, and especially some with a good sense of community and humor.  Enter "The Drunk Knight"...

Per "The Drunk Knight", who appears to be a man who lives above a Massachusetts bar:  "I found you passed out drunk with your car running, so I hid your keys under the Atlas in your back seat. I hope you get home safe. I'm not your hero. I'm your silent guardian. A watchful protector. – The Drunk Knight."

That is what the note that "The Drunk Knight", a man who goes by the handle of "Krazy_Legs" on "Reddit", said / wrote after finding a drunk man passed out at the wheel of his car in the middle of the night with the engine running.  "The Drunk Knight", took the driver's keys out of the ignition after finding him slumped over in the car, then returned with a bottle of water and a note telling the driver where he could find the keys in the backseat when he awoke.

In an image posted on Reddit the DUI driver, a man in a grey shirt and baseball cap, can be seen slumped sideways in front of the wheel.  On Reddit Krazy_Legs explained:  "I found this guy passed out drunk with his car running outside of a bar at 3.00 am. The bars close at midnight where I am, so I tried to wake him up, but he just kept mumbling and continued to sleep. I decided to hide his keys in the backseat, just in case a cop came, and left him a note and some water. I realized once I was sober that a cop would probably just read the note and arrest him anyway, but at least I tried."

Most folks would have left the passed out driver alone, but then again, apparently "The Drunk Knight" isn't most folks.  Memo to the Folks:  When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".

Be smart{er than the Dude in the picture on Reddit}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
