You may recall 38 y/o Michelle Schwab of Delaware, Ohio... That's her below...
She was arrested for child endangerment back in April, 2014 for first dangling her toddler over the observation area of the Cleveland Metropark's Zoo's cheetah pit (you can read all about the original incident here - as she dangled her 2 y/o son over the cheetah pit the toddler lunged from her falling about ten (10) feet into the cheetah's lair).
When the toddler tumbled into the cheetah pit both Melissa and her husband jumped into the exhibit to retrieve the boy, who had broken his leg. Per the Cleveland Metropark's Zoo officials, the cheetahs never approached the family.
Well yesterday, after having pled guilty to a reduced charge of aggravated criminal trespassing back in May, 2015, Michelle was sentenced to one (1) year of probation with special conditions that she receive counseling and parenting classes.
The truly ironic thing is that Melissa reportedly works as an assistant director at a Columbus-area daycare facility.
