Burglar makes it easy for Cops to Nab Him by Leaving Wallet with ID at Crime Scene ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 25 y/o Joshua Ray Murphy of High Shoals, NoCar.  That's his mug shot below...

Lincoln County, North Carolina Sheriff's Deputies had very little trouble in identifying Josh as their primary burglary suspect in two (2) home invasion cases as his wallet and ID were found at the scene of the first crime.

Per police reports on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 Josh walked into house #1, which was unlocked.  After he made his way into a bedroom closet Josh was startled by the presence of the homeowner, a man named Rodney Allen Putnam who is confined to a wheelchair.   As Josh turned and ran he unluckily snagged his bag on a door and it ripped, causing him to drop his personal belongings as he made his way out, spilling onto the ground about 50 yards away from the home that he had been burglarizing, and thus triggering an "Epic Burglary FAIL!".

Still, as startled as he may have been, apparently homeowner #1's presence was an insufficient deterrent as Josh proceeded to make his way to yet another home which was just a short distance away, and where he was confronted by yet another homeowner.  Although Josh bolted from that scene too, and while he had nothing left to drop, he was positively identified by homeowner #2 as well.

Joshua now faces prosecution on two (2) felony counts of breaking and entering and one (1) felony count each of larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods a building.  Memo to Josh:  Yes....

That and... Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, no, don't do it....
