"Shatter" (a/k/a "Dabs") is a Marijuana Concentrate which is getting Cops in non-Pot-Friendly States all Hot and Bothered ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1




"Shatter"... It's not just the foundation of a Stones' tune, it's also a new world marijuana concentrate that packs some serious cannabinoid content.



Users may love it but law enforcement doesn't.  Because of it's high (sorry, pun not intended) THC content (reportedly up to 80+%) cops don;t know whether to be concerned about the potency or not.  




Shatter is a form of "dabs" (a catch-all term for marijuana concentrates which are made by extracting cannabinoids), a process where THC and CBD are literally pulled out of the marijuana plant by way of a solvent which is then dissolved leaving behind only the concentrated resins.  Other "dabs" include "budder", "wax", "honey" and oils.  
The term "shatter" comes from the fact that when cooled, the left over resin looks like a glassy sheet and, when dropped, it shatters (kinda like the meth that Walter White made in "Breaking Bad").



Of all the "dabs" shatter is reportedly the most potent, as it goes through an extra filtration process to optimize purity, but it is also the most expensive to smoke as, if you're serious about it then you need a "rig" (an intricate glass "super-bong" which costs big bucks and requires very high heat to vaporize).

  

Most marijuana smokers (and anyone who knows what they are talking about) know that no-one has ever OD'd from smoking pot (and that the only danger presented by pot is arterial hardening from consuming too much junk food) but still, if you're inexperienced and you're gonna "dab", and especially "shatter", then go Eagles instead of Stones (and "Take it Easy").
