Q:     Could my baby's father get in trouble for signing our child's birth certificate? Right now my baby's father is 23 and I am 16.  But I am 6 weeks pregnant and will give birth in September.  At that time my baby's father will be 24 && I'll be 17.  Is this a problem?

Answered . Strange as it may sound, in FL a 23 y/o can have consensual sex with a 16 y/o but a 24 y/o cannot have sex with a 16 or 17 y/o under any circumstances.

That said you may wish to look into the law of "emancipation".
