Orange City, FL police were dispatched to a local Steak 'n Shake after a vehicle had stopped at the drive thru speaker and, well, stayed stopped.
Cops discovered 2 people inside the vehicle. The driver, 30 year old Erika Nathe of Winter Park, FL and the passenger, 35 year old Luis Otero, of DeLand, FL, were both found passed out in their respective seats in the car (that's not them below... its just an illustration).

The car was stopped outside the speaker which allows customers to make their order and had the window rolled down, but both passengers were passed out. After waking both individuals (by forcibly shaking them) Otero (the passenger) reportedly told officer that he needed to use the bathroom, at which point he exited the vehicle and urinated in the drive-thru lane.
Otero was promptly arrested for disorderly intoxication and indecent exposure, and a search of his person led to the discovery of cocaine, marijuana and $1,840 in cash rolled up in his pocket (leading to both misdemeanor and felony drug possession charges).
Erika reportedly told police that she and Otero had been at a bar about a quarter mile from the fast-food restaurant. Although she admitted hat she was too drunk to drive, for reasons unknown, Erika was not arrested for DUI; instead police called a family member to pick her up and drive her home.
Memo to the Folks: See below...
When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is: "Don't do it! Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".
Be smart{er than Erika Nathe}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
