New Year's Eve rapist is severely beaten by victim's boyfriend both before and DURING his arrest. ~ Michael A. Haber, Esq. ~ Call **ARRESTED or **MIAMIDUI

Meet 52 y/o William Mattson of Conway, South Carolina.  Yup, that's his mug shot below....

'Ole Billy wasn't beaten by the cops, he received his pair of matching black eyes, bloodied lip and facial lacerations from his nephew.  Why?  Good question.  I'm glad you asked....

On New Year's Eve Billy's nephew walked into his bedroom which he, the nephew, shares with his girlfriend, only to find his uncle Billy on top of her and sexually assaulting her.  The nephew dragged his uncle off of his girlfriend, proceeded to beat the tar out of him, literally threw his bludgeoned uncle out of the house and then called the cops.

When the cops arrived the nephew began to explain what had happened and, during the course of his statement uncle Billy had the temerity to return to the "locus in quo" (scene of the crime).  The cops interviewed Billy, who claimed that his nephew's girlfriend had arrived home alone and that the two of them (Billy and his nephew's girl) started drinking together.  One thing led to another, next thing being hugs and kisses and Billy following the nephew's girlfriend into her bedroom, where she undressed and he, fully dressed, climbed into bed with her.  Hearing this, the nephew "launched himself at his uncle and commenced Round 2 of the beat down in the officers' presence.

When the nephew's girlfriend girlfriend denied Billy's explanation Billy was arrested and charged with "first degree sexual assault".

Memo to the folks:  It is unknown whether or not the nephew was charged with any sort of assault or battery but it would not surprise me if he was.  The sad fact is that two (2) wrongs do not make a right and revenge is a dish best served cold.

Most especially when it comes to sex offenses and offenders (although in all instances) it's way safer and smarter to let the cops, the prosecutors, the courts, the corrections personnel and the inmates at the jail do your dirty work for you.
