Dallas, Texas Assistant District Attorney gets belligerent and threatens cops during his own DUI arrest. ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ **ARRESTED OR **MIAMIDUI

Meet Justin Moore.  Yup, that's him below....  And it was his birthday yesterday!  Happy Birthday Justin!  Well, maybe not so much, you see...

Justin capped off his birthday celebration by being booked into the Lew Sterrett Jail in Dallas, Texas, but only after he first identified himself as a Dallas County Assistant District Attorney, threatened his arresting officer's jobs, rattled off a few racial slurs (calling cops "Uncle Tom" and members of the KKK) and told them what he thought of the Dallas PD (that they are a "sad department" and that he's "sick of having idiots from this department" [in his grill]).

The stop occurred at approximately 2:45 am after cops had observed Justin's vehicle speeding, swerving though traffic, tailgating and almost sideswiping another moving vehicle.

Justin apparently didn't have sense enough about him NOT to drive after drinking and while allegedly stinking of booze, and he may not have been able to readily produce his driver license, and the rest of his Mel Gibson-esque moronic behavior not withstanding, but he did have presence of mind to refuse all testing...  No breath, no urine, no roadside sobriety tests, no nothing (in the DUI industry we call this a "double refusal").  And why do you suppose that Justin refused everything?

He did so because he knew that as an evidentiary matter his case will now necessarily be decided solely upon the credibility of the officers' testimony (and any dash cam video, if it exists).  However smart Justin may have been in depriving his employer of tangible evidence with which to convict him he was equally stupid in making threatening and belligerent statements.  Had he just shut the hell up and politely refused then the case against him would be w-e-a-k.  As it is, he is suspended from his job without pay and I will bet a donut that his juvenile, drunk, 28 y/o wise-ass mouth will be his downfall.

When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".

Be smart{er than Justin Moore}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
