NY Man is Arrested for Manslaughter after his Friend was Killed while they passed time indoors playing Russian Roulette during Blizzard ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Things to do during a blizzard:

1) Watch a movie, 2) Read a book, 3) Play a game... of Russian Roulette...

The overwhelming odds are that you've probably never played it (because you are likely neither suicidal nor deranged) but you have likely heard of it... The "game" of Russian roulette works by placing a single bullet in a random chamber out of six, before daring to hold the loaded gun to one’s temple before pulling on the trigger, and the gamble comes with the player hoping they will not trigger the loaded chamber, with a one in six chance of instant death.

Sadly, during the latest blizzard, at about 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 23rd, 2015, 32 year old Gorecki Maciej, a Brooklyn resident, survived a very real game of Russian Roulette; but his "friend", 37 year old Zdzislaw Golabek, did not, dying from a gunshot wound to the head.

Maciej, who was arrested for manslaughter and "criminal possession of a weapon", reportedly told police that he and his friend Golabek were playing Russian roulette in the moments before the shooting occurred.  Maciej had remained at the scene of the accident and the weapon was recovered by police.  Paramedics were called and despite two feet (2') of snow they arrived on scene, finding the situation to be futile.

Memo to the Folks:   I really should not have to say this but, as we now know that there are people as dumb as Gorecki Maciej and Zdzislaw Golabek out there I will:  DO NOT PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETTE!  This is a very stupid thing to do.  If you want to test your survival skills then try something challenging like climbing Mount Everest or making your way to Vostok Station or if you really wanna push your limits then go wrestle a Grizzly Bear... Whatever you do be please considerate of others who have to clean up your mess.
