Meet Sister Kimberly Miller. That's her below, doing what she does best... teaching at the Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia.
What she apparently does not do to well is to hold down her sacrament, or to make good decisions (like not to drive) when she drinks.
At about 3:00 am on Saturday morning, November 7th, 2015, Sister Kim was pulled over after pulling into the parking lot of a Meineke Auto Shop in Turnersville, New Jersey, backing into the glass entrance door and smashed it before driving away in her silver Chevy Impala.
She reportedly failed FST's (field sobriety tests) and was allegedly found to have had a BAC (breath alcohol content) of twice the legal limit. You can watch the police car dashcam video which shows Sister Kim stumbling as she tries to walk in a straight line and struggling to stand on one foot by clicking here.
Sister Kim has been placed on leave from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia, where her students have started a petition ("Save Sr. Kim's Job", which is on "PetitionBuzz" and which you can view by clicking here has been signed by 2,126 people) for her to keep her job. The students' petition calls for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Office of Catholic Education not to fire Sister Kim and says: "Sister Kim has served the Little Flower community and it's students for many years. She has helped her students blossom into the women they are today with her selfless devotion and dedication to her faith and job as a teacher. She has been a fine educator and a shoulder to cry on for many of her students. Her wisdom and love has helped many of her students get through the most difficult times of high school. In light of recent events, all of the positive things she has done should not be overshadowed by one negative wrongdoing. If Sr. Kim has had a significant affect on you during your years at Little Flower, help to reinstate her job by signing this petition."

Peter DeGeorge is the manager of the Turnersville Meineke. When he was told by cops that a nun had been arrested for drunkenly causing the damage to his auto parts store DeGeorge told a local television station that: "The officer explained to me, he said, 'Someone hit your building it was a nun who happened to be drunk and we arrested her down the road.' Randomly that someone hit your building and then to find out it was a nun who happened to be drunk at almost 3 in the morning on a Friday night it's not something you expect to walk into on a Saturday morning."
Memo to Sister Kim: Mistakes happen. Don't sweat it. No one was injured, the glass will get repaired and your case will be handled. Your students and your community love you, and, most importantly (if I may be so bold as to speculate), rumor has it that the Big Man is almost always in a forgiving mood.
When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is: "Don't do it! Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".
Be smart{er than Sister Kimberly Miller}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
