What do you do when you are stuck in the car, waiting, in Evansville, Indiana, on Thanksgiving Day eve, awaiting Target's Black Friday opening with your mom and her loaded gun gun?
Well, if you are the unnamed mother and her knuckle-headed fifteen (15) year old son then you play with the gun, removing it from under a seat and pulling the trigger, shooting your mother in the back.
Responding cops deemed the shooting accidental. Cops believed the boy when he told them that he thought that the safety was on, so the teenager was not charged, and, luckily, his mom's injury was non-life threatening.
Memo to the Folks: For ___________'s sake, please practice gun safety. If you are not, or if you cannot be, responsible with a firearm then stay the hell away from them. Guns are inherently dangerous, yet on their own they cannot and do not kill people... there is almost always a human at trigger.
