Fellatio FAIL! ~ Likely Intoxicated FL Man Driving a F-250 Hits, Runs & Kills a Bicyclist due to Distraction from Receiving Oral Sex while Driving ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1




Meet 54 year old Randy Joe Allen, a Polk County, Florida resident.  That's his mug shot below...




Randy was arrested on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 for Leaving the Scene of an Accident causing Death, and DUI Manslaughter charges are possible, pending lab results from a blood draw.




According to an eye witness account, the deceased, 49 year old Terry Lamunt Ross, was riding his bicycle when the green 2000 Ford F-250 hit him almost head on, ejecting Terry off his bike and into the truck before landing on the roadside where he would ultimately die.




The eyewitness jotted down the F-250's tag and, although she was off by one (1) digit (she mistook a "G" for a "6"), Polk County Deputy Sheriff's were able to match the vehicle up to Randy and respond to his home.  Although Randy was not at home his family members told cops that he was probably at "Liquid Larry's Bar" in Lakeland, and so that's where they went....




Upon arrival Deputies observed the green 200 F-250 in the parking lot.  Per police the vehicle had "clear damage to the headlight assembly, the hood, the passenger side and blood stains on the passenger door."   When they made contact with Randy cops said that he reeked of alcohol and was slurring his words.  Still, he reported that he had been drinking at "the Midway Lounge" in Winter Haven where he had met a woman. They left together and, while driving, he acknowledged having hit something, but he believed it to have been either a stop sign or a guard rail.  He claimed to have been "distracted" by his thus far unnamed female passenger.




When she was questioned the female passenger further elaborated, stating that she had in fact met Randy at the Midway Lounge and after a few drinks she left with him. She told Deputies that while riding in the passenger seat she began to perform oral sex on Randy and that, while doing so, she felt and heard a bump.  She reported that Randy told her that he had just hit a stop sign and that she had no reason to disbelieve him.
Leaving the scene of an accident involving death is, in Florida, a first degree felony which is punishable by up to thirty (30) years in prison.  If he is charged with DUI Manslaughter as well then Randy faces an additional fifteen (15) years for that second degree felony charge.  Randy is reportedly no stranger to the criminal justice system, having seven (7) prior arrests in Polk County including one (1) DUI.




Memo to the Folks:  Distracted driving, for any reason (texting, sexting, applying make-up, eating, talking, receiving oral...) is a disaster waiting to happen. Should you ever find yourself in a situation where tragedy strikes while you are driving, then STOP.  LSA is a very difficult (and oftentimes impossible) crime to defend, and it carries very harsh penalties.  Pay attention to the road.  You stand infinitely better odds at a "happy ending" if you are not distracted while driving.



When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".


Be smart{er than Randy Joe Allen}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
