You'll Never Take Me Alive: Handcuffed Georgia Man Dies after Trying to Avoid his Arrest by Jumping out of a 3rd Story Window ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 22 y/o Tyquan Richardson, formerly of Atlanta, GA.  That was him below...

Ty was in downtown Atlanta at his Pre-Trial Intervention program reporting for a drug charge when police found a gun outside the building and traced it back to him on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015.  As Ty was being arrested for the weapon he managed to escaped the officers around him, crashing through a third floor plate glass window and landing on the sidewalk below.  Ty was pronounced dead at a local hospital a few hours later.

Per reports at about 10:30 am a janitor had reportedly found a loaded handgun amid some documents which contained Ty's name and outside of the building that housed the PTI program.

Per Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan, once notified police approached, advised that the weapon was both discovered and violated the bond terms of his pending drug case and they then began to arrest Ty, who reportedly admitted to having the gun.  Having previously been sentenced in Michigan for carrying a concealed weapon "He was somewhat concerned about what this gun charge would do, based on his record".  Ty reportedly told officers he did not want to go back to jail, and then he ran and jumped.

Memo to the Folks:  Fleeing and eluding or resisting arrest rarely works out well.  As I tell my ten (10) y/o son about the effects of compounding your trouble by lying, not only does fleeing, eluding and resisting arrest A) usually result in additional charges, B) generally prejudice you with both the Court and the prosecuting authority and C) substantially increase the odds of an, er, "accident resulting in injury to the subject", but it definitely both compounds and negatively effects your situation.  Maybe Ty is better off dead, I don't know, but my advise to you is to sit tight, invoke, be quiet, be as respectful as possible and call your lawyer asap, otherwise...
