Parenting FAIL! Baby Boy is Airlifted to the Hospital with .19 BAC after his Mother put Bourbon in his Milk Bottle to "Stop his Teething Cries" ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 28 y/o Lori Sheppard, and Arkansas mother of a ten (10) month old baby boy. That's her mug shot below, and she's wearing an appropriate tee-shirt...

This, er, well, idiot, couldn't bear the sound of her crying son so she decided to spike his milk bottle with bourbon in an effort to calm him down.

Naturally this ended with a) the baby boy having to go to hospital for several days (after he was found "limp and unresponsive') and b) mommie-dearest being arrested and charged with child endangerment and aggravated assault.

Per the police report (which is reproduced below) Lori told cops that the child "was fine before she placed him in his playpen" at her home.  After stepping out of her trailer, she claims that her son was unconscious by the time she went back inside. When police questioned her Lori told investigators that when Tylenol and Motrin did not relieve the infant's discomfort, she asked her mother who suggested rubbing alcohol on the baby's gums.

Instead, and despite Lori initially having denied giving the baby any alcohol, she buckled and eventually confessed to putting booze in Ronald's bottle.   Baby Ronald was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock with a BAC (blood alcohol content) of .19 (2.5x the legal limit for adults when operating a motor vehicle).  Ronald was kept in hospital for treatment until he was able to be released into the custody of child welfare workers.

Memo to Lori:  Congratulations.  You are definitely in contention for a cover shoot. Make sure to wear the same tee-shirt that you were wearing when you were booked and you're a shoe in.  PS...
