"Evan Rhodes... COME ONE DOWN...."
Meet 55 y/o Evan Rhodes.... That's his mug shot below....
Evan lives on a ranch in Bardin, Putnam County, Florida where his son and daughter, Christopher and Elaina, aged 28 and 34 respectively also reside, albeit in a separate residence. It kinda reminds me of the Ponderosa, well, it did anyhow until Evan went berserk on his kids, which is something that Ole' Ben Carwright would never have done....
Anyhow, Elvis walked over to the kid's house on Sunday, April 19th. 2015 and removed a two (2) beers form the cooler on their porch. When the kids realized that Pops had taken the beers they confronted him, resulting in a heated argument, and then in Pops going to the store to replace the cold ones. But when Elvis returned his kids refused to open or answer the door, locking themselves inside, and prompting Pops to huff, and to and puff, and to attempt to smash the door down, with a pick axe.
After his "Here come's Johnnie" moment (and a few puncture strikes in the door)...
son Christopher ended his father's insane charge with a shotgun blast through the door...
and thus the Rhodes' Family feud ended with Elvis being arrested for burglary and two (2) counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
My ten (10) y/o has a pick axe too, but it looks like this...
