Police Chief Caught on Video Speeding Issues Himself a Ticket and makes a Public Apology on Facebook ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Sperry, Oklahoma:  It's just north of Tulsa and has a population of about 1,206 (as of the 2010 census):

That said, meet Sperry, Oklahoma Police Chief Justin Burch.  That's him below...

Chief Burch is one honest cop.

How do I know this?  Because on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 Chief Burch issued himself a speeding ticket, and he did so in a very public fashion.

The Chief wrote himself the ticket in response to a citizen who had made an anonymous complaint (via sending a video to the Police Department which showed the Chief speeding through town)...

And also in response to the anonymous citizen complaint the Chief issued a public apology on the Sperry Police Department's Facebook page (which you can see by clicking here) stating:  "I am writing to inform everyone that I, Chief Burch, was breaking the law by speeding on 103rd St N. A citizen made a complaint about it and I acknowledge that I was wrong in traveling at 75 and 80 mph. I did have a reason for being in a hurry, but my speeds were not reasonable. I am holding myself accountable just as anyone else would have to be. I have written myself a citation and will be paying it just like every other citizen. I regret my actions and I sincerely apologize. I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend and please be safe. Chief Burch."

Chief Burch reportedly admitted that he's "not sure he would have issued the ticket if not for the video" but he also said that he would pay the $300.00+ ticket "in full".
