Parenting FAIL! School Staff Call Cops after Discovering that the Father of an 11 y/o Boy uses a Taser on the Child as a Form of Discipline ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 49 y/o Darryl Ingram.  That's his mug shot below...

Daryl, who reportedly is a medical assistant at the VA, was arrested for child abuse after staff from his 11 y/o son's school in Goodyear, AZ (which is just outside of Phoenix) observed various abrasions on the boy's body while he was sitting in class and called the cops.

The boy reportedly told police that his father had used a Taser on his shoulder, arm, and legs several times over the past year when he didn't do his homework.  The boy reportedly told police his father would give him a choice between the stun gun or being "whooped" 40 times with a metal cane, and that he would opt for the Taser, which he claimed that his father told him "was like a toy and wasn't charged all the way".

Police report that Daryl initially denied owning a Taser, claiming that he was using a phone app to scare his son, but cops located a Taser after other family members advised that Daryl in fact had one.

Daryl, a former army veteran, would later tell the press that the Taser was meant to be a scare tactic and not for discipline, stating: "I was telling him this is a toy compared to what police use.  If your behavior and the way you're doing things continues on, somewhere down the line, this is something that is going to be used on you. You have to be obedient."

Meantime, the child has been removed from Daryl's care pending resolution of his child abuse (and presumable DCF) charges.

Memo to Daryl:   Wtf is wrong with you?  I have an 11 y/o son you moron.  Would you like to know what happens to tough guys who taser little children in prison?  Ask Zeus...
