CHP Arrests Man for DUI when he is Found Sound Asleep in his Car and Behind the Wheel on San Diego Freeway Exit Ramp ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet California's own Jorge Zazueta.  That's him below...

And here he is asleep behind the wheel of his car at or about 3:00 am.

CHiP's (California Highway Patrol) Officers found George sound asleep / passed out in the driver's seat behind the wheel of a car with his foot on the brake on a San Diego freeway.  Officers woke George after knocking on the window several times and shining a flashlight in his face.  After taking, and reportedly failing, field sobriety tests, George was arrested for DUI.

Memo to the Folks:  It is tough enough to defend against DUI cases (especially when you are passed out drunk in the middle of the roadway and then you fail FST's which, btw, and although the cops don't have to and won't tell you - not in FL anyhow - that you do not have to perform - see the below HaberPA YouTube Webisode / VideoFAQ on FST's) but compounding the task with admissions of guilt is just plain self-destructive.

In this case George foolishly took to Facebook after his arrest, literally apologizing for his actions (you can read his Facebook admission below) and bellyaching about his arrest (which is a matter of public record) being published by local news media...

Memo to the Folks continued:  Anything that you post on social media can and will be used against you in a court of law.  As a standard condition of all of HaberPA's retainer agreements the following language is included:

Client understands that any statements that she makes about or relative to the Case are subject to being admitted into evidence against her interests in the Case.  Client expressly understands that such statements are not limited to those which may be verbally made and include any and all social media posts, comments, discussions, pictures, illustrations or representations, most specifically those made by Client but also those by others which may include Client.

Ergo, "Haber's Rules of Social Media # 1 - 5" (which you can see by by clicking here), you can also watch HaberPA's YouTube Webisode / VideoFAQ on Social Media and the Law by clicking on the video link below...

When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".

Be smart{er than Jorge Zazueta}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
