Can you seal more than 1 Criminal Record in FL? Are there any other options? ~ Chosen as "Best Answer" by Asker on www.AVVO.com ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Q:     Can I seal or expunge my records again, and if not that what are my other options to hide my unfair arrest records from employers?  I have been arrested in 2010 in FL, my charges were dismissed and I was able to expunge them even before any trial.  Unfortunately I was arrested again in FL and my charges were dismissed before the trial and I had no info statement.  Both case happened because of false claims or reports, first one from a cop and second one from a friend.

Answered .   When it comes to sealing or expungement, FL is a "one and done" State.

You only get one bite at the proverbial seal / expunge apple.

You may consider the option (although it is not really so much of an option as it is a crap shoot and in fact, the odds are much better at craps) of seeking an award of executive clemency.

In that regard everything that you ever wanted to know about clemency - "the pardon process" - can be found at the following link :https://www.fcor.state.fl.us/clemency.shtml .

Sadly, at best an award of executive clemency is a veritable lottery drawing, and at worst it is truly a political process which is housed in a shroud of alleged fairness. In point of fact the odds of getting an award of a gubernatorial pardon are probably close to those for winning the lottery.

Still, I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question.
