FL Woman is Arrested for Misdemeanor Battery after throwing a "cup full of hot nacho cheese" sauce on a 7-11 Clerk ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 31 y/o Stephanie Hicks of Melbourne, FL.  That's her mug shot below...

Stephanie was arrested for misdemeanor battery at approximately 1:00 am on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at a local 7-11 convenience store for throwing a "cup full of hot nacho cheese" (and a sandwich) at store clerk Ann Marie Laflamme after a dispute about service.

According to the Melbourne Police Department's Probable Cause Affidavit police arrived at the scene to find Stephanie standing in the front doorway of the store and Ann Marie inside with "yellow nacho cheese on her hands, her foot, and on the floor behind the register."

Although they disagree as to the precise events leading up to the incident (Stephanie claimed that Ann Marie "started to have an attitude with her" while Ann Marie claimed that "she would appreciate it if Hicks did not open the machine"), both women reportedly agree as to the basic facts leading up to the arrest, and, more importantly the video surveillance confirmed the crime.  In a nutshell Stephanie wanted a cup of nacho cheese to go along with her sandwich and when she opened up the cheese dispenser things went south, fast.

Whether it was done rudely or in a polite matter Ann Marie ultimately refused to ring Stephanie up at the register and the video showed "Hicks throwing the items across the counter and in the immediate direction of Laflamme".

While awaiting police arrival on scene Stephanie reportedly told Ann Marie that "the customer is always right."

Well apparently Stephanie was wrong on multiple fronts, as she was arrested for misdemeanor battery and spent the night in a local jail for "willfully and intentionally throwing hot cheese and a sandwich at Laflamme with the intent to cause her harm".
