Mary was arrested on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 after two children, whom she was supposed to have been babysitting while their mother was at work, reportedly took her car keys, went off on a joyride in her car (which was found to have contained opiates) and crashed her car into a tree (the kids, a 9 y/o boy and his 6 y/o sister, reportedly, and fortunately, were not injured).
Mary would later reportedly tell cops that she was in the shower, when she got out she noticed that the children were gone and she was unable to find her car keys.

but, when the cops questioned here about the hydrocone pills that were discovered inside of her wrecked car Mary reportedly told the police that the children had placed the drugs into her car. (Okay, now I will call Mary a liar, and a bad one at that...)
In addition, investigation would reportedly reveal that: A) At no time did Mary ever called the police to report either the missing children or the missing car and B) that after Mary noticed that the both the kids and the car were gone she took her roommate vehicle and ran errands for about 45 minutes.
For her caring, doting, brilliant baby sitting skills Mary was charged with two counts of child neglect (as well as for possession of narcotics).
In addition, investigation would reportedly reveal that: A) At no time did Mary ever called the police to report either the missing children or the missing car and B) that after Mary noticed that the both the kids and the car were gone she took her roommate vehicle and ran errands for about 45 minutes.
