Lawyer FAIL! Pair of OH Lawyers Arrested & Sentenced for Obstruction of Justice after conjuring-up & blaming Non-Existent Black Man for DUI Accident ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 27 y/o Heather Wilsey, an Ohio lawyer.  That's her below...

Now meet 42 y/o Kenneth Lewis, another Ohio lawyer...

And here is the pair in the mug shots after being arrested (Heather for DUI and Obstruction of Justice and Kenneth for Obstruction of Justice) in the early morning hours of June 9th, 2016 in Lorraine County, Ohio.

Here's the skinny on the events leading to theiur arrest:  At about 1:15 am on June 9th, 2016 Heather, with Ken in the passenger seat, crashed her 2012 Acura into a utility pole.  When cops arrived they found both Heather and Kenneth walking away from the scene of the accident.  Kenneth reportedly offered up a story to the cops that they had met a black man at the Train Station Bar who had offered to drive them home and after he crashed the car he fled the scene.  Heather, following Ken's lead, quickly confirmed the BS story, even offering to try to find the name of the black man from a mutual friend who she claimed knew him.

Unfortunately for Heather and Ken, the cops are not stupid, and they followed-through with an investigation, going to the Train Station Bar where the reviewed surveillance footage that clearly showed the pair of lawyers leaving the bar alone, sans any black man.  In fact, the video footage reportedly showed Heather opening the driver's door, getting into the driver's seat and driving the Acura out of the bar's parking lot.

They both pleaded guilty with Heather receiving a break down from DUI, a suspended 80 day jail sentence and 3 years of probation (with a "no alcohol consumption" special condition); Kenneth got 10 days in jail for his part in the scheme of "blaming the black guy".

Both lawyers also face discipline from the Ohio Supreme Court as the Lorain County Bar Association has reportedly filed formal grievances against them alleging dishonesty, racial discrimination and misconduct that adversely affects their ability to practice law.

Memo to the Folks:  Bad lawyers reflect poorly on good lawyers and it's important to call them out.  If you feel that your lawyer has failed to perform ethically or has otherwise violated his oath as a lawyer then you should file a grievance with the Bar and let them decide if your complaint(s) has (have) merit.
