Social Media / YouTube FAIL! FL Mom is Arrested for Child Neglect after being Identified by Video that she Recorded and then Posted of her 7 y/o Son Driving the Car ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 34 y/o Kwaniqua Glenn.  That's her mug shot below...

Apparently Kwaniqua decided to get a jump on giving home school driving lessons to her son, a 7 y/o boy who attends elementary school in Seminole County, FL, and after her YouTube video of the incident (which, with her in a passenger seat turns out to be nothing shy of a "digital confession") she now she faces prosecution for felony child neglect.

The incident happened sometime in September, 2016 but it was not until recently that a local school resource officer just happened to see Kwaniqua's YouTube video, recognized both the area and the child / driver as a student that he knew and then alerted the Seminole County Sheriff's Office which began it's investigation.

In the video (which you can see by clicking here) the 7 y/o boy can be seen with one hand on the steering wheel as he leans his opposite arm on the seat, and his mom, peach that she is, can be heard saying in the background: "When your son is driving and he's only seven years old."

At one point, when her son appears to struggle to turn the wheel with one hand, Kwaniqua tells him to slow down and the child is then heard saying: "What? You don't have to record me."

The Sheriff reported that during the course of the video it appears that the boy made at least two turns through the Altamonte Springs neighborhood.  After viewing the video Deputies believe that the child drove less than a half mile at an average speed of 29 mph.

The Sheriff's Office believes that Kwaniqua met her son at his school bus stop and told him to get behind the wheel and drive through the neighborhood.  Kwaniqua was arrested on Thursday, October 14th, 2016.

Memo to the Folks:   Anything that you post on social media can and will be used against you in court.  As in Kwaniqua's case your posts or comments can essentially become an irrefutable digital confession.  Be smart and think before you post...
