22 y/o CA Woman 22 is Arrested for DUI & LSA after Hitting a Bicyclist just Hours after Proudly Posting Pictures of her New Mercedes Benz to Instagram ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 22 y/o Aya Ibish, who reportedly is a medical student at Irvine Valley College and who lives in Laguna Beach, California.  That's her, below, on September 27th, 2016, in the afternoon, proudly posing with her brand new Mercedez Benz.  (The time and date are known as Aya had posted a photo on Instagram of herself excitedly waving her arms as she stood next to a shiny gray Benz wrapped with a large red bow around the front which she labeled as her "new pride and joy".)

And here's Aya again, in a picture that she did not post on social media, at about 11:00 pm that same day, being hauled off by cops, in handcuffs and under arrest for leaving the scene of a a DUI accident with injuries.

Apparently young Aya celebrated a little to hard because at around 10:40 pm on September 27th, 2016, Aya reportedly struck a bicyclist in Costa Mesa, California and then took off / fled from the scene.

The unidentified victim, who had suffered leg lacerations and a possible broken leg, had described the car that hit him as a gray Mercedes-Benz, police immediately began a search for a luxury sedan with front end damage and Aya was pulled over in the banged-up car within minutes.

Memo to the Folks:  The only thing worse than a DUI is a DUI-accident, and the only thing worse than that is being caught after leaving / fleeing the scene.  Please do not drink and drive.  You have options.  Stay put.  Get a ride (from a sober friend).  Take a cab, an Uber or get a Lyft.  Just don't drive.  And if you do, and especially if you have an accident (and this applies equally to a sober accident), then DO NOT LEAVE THE SCENE.  LSA (leaving the scene of an accident) is a separate and distinct criminal offense (in some places, like FL, more serious than the underlying DUI) and it is very easy for the government to prove.

When it comes to the subject of drinking and driving, the best advice that you are ever going to hear is:  "Don't do it!  Get a DD (Designated Driver), not a DUI".

Be smart{er than Aya Ibish}: Don't drink and drive, but, if you do, just say "NO{thing}", don't blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
