GA Waffle House Waitress Spikes Chef's Drink with Methamphetamine, leaving the man in a Coma for 4 Weeks with no apparent Motive ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 43 year old Sonserea Dawn Evans, who works (er, make that "worked") as a waitress at a Dawsonville, Georgia Waffle House.  That's her mug shot below...

For reasons unknown on December 23rd, 2015 Sonserea spiked a co-worker's drink with methamphetamine, causing him to slip into a coma which kept 37 year old Waffle House chef and father of a 10 year old daughter, Brian Mikeals, unconscious for more than 4 weeks.

No, there is nothing funny about being in a coma, and there is also no explanation for the surveillance footage which shows Sonserea taking Brian's drink into the bathroom, where police believe that she slipped in the drugs.

No, there is also nothing funny about either spiking someone's drink or having your drink spiked, and I am pretty sure that both Brian and his daughter (pictured below) would agree (especially after the 37-year-old father collapsed and fell into a coma for 4 weeks on Christmas Eve, eve).  Fortunately Brian is presently recovering at Northside Hospital in Cumming, Georgia, although he can still barely speak.

Meanwhile Sonserea was arrested for aggravated battery and for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.   Per Dawson County Police Captain Tony Wooten:  "This is low, this is somebody you work with. We believe, obviously, that it was intentional; that she took the methamphetamine and put it in the cup for him to drink."  Per Brian's mother (who hopes that her son can undergo therapy and lead a normal life with his 10-year-old daughter):  "Why would she do this to my son? Why would she do this to anybody?  I have to keep my hopes up that yes, he can walk again, yes he can take his daughter fishing again. If I don't have that hope, I have nothing."  And per a Waffle House spokesperson:  Sonserea's employment was "immediately terminated".

Sonserea is reportedly still being held at Dawson County Detention Center where she continues to refuse to cooperate with investigators.
