Criminal Justice System WIN! Woman Stops Cop from Shooting her Dog by Standing in between them, Cop Arrests her, Husband Films Incident, Jury Acquits ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 23 year old Tiffanie Hupp.  That's her below...

Tiffanie was arrested for obstructing justice on May 9th, 2015 after she stopped West Virginia state Trooper Seth Cook, who had been called to the property to solve a dispute between Tiffanie's husband's stepfather and a neighbor, from shooting her dog Buddy (pictured below), who was chained to a wall at their home in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

When Trooper Cook stepped on to the family's front yard Buddy started yapping and ran towards him.  Turning his attention to the canine the Trooper immediately pulled out a handgun and pointed it at Buddy.

Fortunately for Tiffanie her husband, Ryan, started filming the incident (you can watch the video on YouTube by clicking here) as Tiffanie ran to stand in the way.  Still photos from the video show Tiffanie stepping in between the gun and Buddy.

The Trooper then drops his weapon, grabs Tiffanie by the arms and hurls her to the ground.   As her relatives scream, he picks her up and slams her onto his cop car, handcuffing her wrists.

To compound his incredible douche baggery Trooper Cook then took it upon himself to go inside of the home to "confiscate electronic devices", including the cell phone that Ryan had used to film the incident.

Fortunately Trooper Cook was not able to secure and destroy the evidence of his piss poor behavior and therefore a jury was able to watch with their own eyes, listen with their own ears and fairly judge the true to life facts with their own common sense and good judgment... naturally resulting in a acquittal on February 29th, 2016.

After the trial Tiffanie was quoted as saying:  "If it wasn’t for him [her husband Ryan] recording, there’d be nothing.  He knew about police brutality before I did. But that’s why the camera is shaking, because of the adrenaline.  When they read those words 'not guilty', we were relieved.  It’s hard to describe the feeling unless it’s actually happening to you. Justice is good, though."

Memo to the Folks:    Some times the cops exceed their mandate and sometimes it is the citizen who is out of control.  One thing is for sure though:  Were all police citizen encounters digitally recorded then we'd be taking the guess work out of the equation. If the cops are not recording you then you might want to be recording them.  For posterity.  Or your freedom.  Which ever comes first.
