Woman Arrested on Narcotics Charges gets Re-Arrested 5 hours later after returning to PD and demanding Return of her Drugs from Cops ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 26 y/o Emily Morin of Salem, New Hampshire.  That's her below...

Em looks happy, especially for a mug shot, but maybe her mood was enhanced from her heroin substitute, Suboxone (Suboxone is a prescribed anti-opiate addiction drug, but it can still cause addiction or overdose).

At about 11 am on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 Salem, NH Police were dispatched to Macy's Department in regard to Emily having been caught shoplifting.  During their investigation officers wound up finding Suboxone in Em's possession and so they confiscated they controlled substance and took her into custody.

Em was released on $2,500.00 bail and, because her driver license and vehicle registration were apparently invalid she reportedly also had to agree to not drive until her license was reinstated.

But, just a few hours later (5 as reported), Emily returned to the Salem Police Station asking to speak with the officer who arrested her for possession.  At that time she reportedly demanded the return of her heroin substitute and when officers refused to acquiesce stormed out of the station and was observed walking back to her car and climbing into the driver's seat (again she was not supposed to be driving), prompting a cop to run after her and order her to stop.

As Emily now chose to decline to acquiesce to the officer's demand he proceeded to open her car door and and escort her out of the vehicle, at which point Emily is accused of physically resisting arrest, which led to her re-arrest, this time on new charges.   So, in summary, some 5 or so hours after being arrested for possession of a controlled substance Emily got herself rearrested for "breach of bail, driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest", which she will now face in addition to her drug charges.

Memo to Emily Morin:

Memo to Emily Morin continued:  I hate to say it but you are now a member of this prestigious club...

Memo to the Folks:  I cannot speak to New Hampshire (or any State other than FL) but being on drugs - "voluntary intoxication" - is not a defense to a crime (again, in FL), so if you're using try to avoid the cops, and whatever you do please stay away from the police station.
