Say hello to Orlando, Florida's International Airport.
Some of you know it some of you don't, but in any event most if not all of you are familiar with the TSA...
and on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 Orlando air passenger Kathleen Duddleston got her close-up and personal introduction to what is rapidly becoming the most objectively dysfunctional, dishonest and corrupt government agency (which is high, er low, praise)...
After Kathleen had entered a TSA checkpoint lane, for reasons unknown she was called aside to undergo additional screening and so it was that TSA Officer Michelle Metz, conducted a pat down, during which Kathleen advised that she was concerned that she could not see her bags. Officer Metz responded by moving Kathleen closer, at which time she, Kathleen observed another TSA Officer, later identified at 22 y/o Alexander Johnson (pictured below), "move over slightly".
Immediately after her seemingly uneventful pat down Kathleen retrieved her luggage and the following sequence of events unfolded: 1) Upon her own subsequent inspection, Kathleen noticed that her cash was missing;
2) Kathleen told Officer Metz that her cash was missing from her bag; 3) She noticed "a bulge in Johnson's shirt pocket"; 4) Soon-to-be-ex-TSA Officer Johnson had a wad of cash in his pocket; 5) Kathleen asked Johnson if said bulge was her money; 6) Johnson (who had reportedly only been working for TSA for a few months), reportedly stated that the was was his cash that he had gotten from the bank; 7) Kathleen told Officer Metz that she believed that Officer Johnson had her cash in his pocket; 8) Officer Metz retrieved the money from Johnson's pocket and notified a supervisor; 9) The supervisor called Orlando Police who quickly pulled the surveillance footage from the TSA checkpoint and observed Johnson reaching into the woman's bag and stuffing the money into his pocket while Kathleen was being patted down; 10) Kathleen's cash was returned to her forthwith; and 11) Johnson was arrested for 3rd Degree Grand Theft.

A TSA Spokesperson subsequently released a statement saying that the "TSA has a zero tolerance for misconduct in the workplace. No exceptions will be tolerated. We immediately ended the federal career of this individual. [TSA] officers represent a professional and honorable workforce that is trained to treat passengers and their personal belongings with care and respect."
