Woman is Convicted after Working for a Decade as a Partner in a Law Firm and as President of her Local Bar Association with no Law License ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1



Meet 45 y/o Kimberly Kitchen.  That's her below...




In that picture Kim is being escorted out of the Huntingdon County, PA Courthouse after having been convicted of forgery, practicing law without a license and felony records tampering.




Kim, who is NOT a lawyer, has been impersonating a lawyer for more than a decade. So good was she in playing her role that she was actually elected President of her local (Huntingdon County) PA Bar Association.  Prosecutors successfully proved that Kim had fooled BMZ Law, a Huntingdon County firm, by forging a law license, her Bar exam results, an email showing that she attended Duquesne University Law School and even a check for a State Attorney registration fee, had "made partner" at BMZ, where she specialized in estate planning, representing more than thirty (30) clients despite never attending law school before the fraud was discovered.




The judge on Kim's case was brought in from another county, and the state attorney general, not county prosecutors, handled the case because Kitchen had been a fixture in the county courthouse for years.


The charges that Kim was convicted of reportedly carry a maximum sentence of three-and-a-half to seven (3&1/2 - 7) years in prison, and as she is neither a flight risk nor does she - having been ordered not to "practice any more law" - present any undue danger to society, she remains out on bond pending sentencing.




Kim's defense lawyer has reportedly said of his client that:  "We think that she had no intent to defraud.  She worked very diligently and was devoted to the people she served in the community."  Further stating that there was no evidence that Kim's work was bad as "She provided a good service."
