Meet Florida's own Travis Treder. That's his mug shot below...
Travis was arrested for theft after being caught stealing a baby python from the Animal House Pet Center in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Travis was captured entering the Animal House Pet Center in Saint Augustine where he reportedly asked employees about the reptiles that were for sale. When the staff weren't looking (but store surveillance camera were) Travis snagged a baby python out of its glass enclosure and put it in the front pocket of his pants.
Someone in the back office notified staff and one tried to stop Travis from leaving the store, but Travis pushed the employee out of his way. Unfortunately for Travis another customer, who happened to be an off-duty security guard, managed to stop and restrain him until police arrived. Although I didn't see it, reportedly footage taken at the scene shows the man tying Travis' hands with cable ties.

Store owner Steve Silk says that this was not the first time that Travis had stolen from his pet shop. Silk reports that Travis has stolen snakes and lizards on two separate occasions in the last nine months. Now a photo of Travis is on display in the store so that someone might recognize his should he ever return.
