Unidentified "John Doe" Drug Mule is found Dead on PA Roadside after one of the Compressed Packets of Heroin that he had Swallowed Burst inside Killing him ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

A motorist made a ghastly discovery on Friday, September 16th, 2016 as he was driving down Route 153 near Penfield, PA...

The driver saw a man slumped over a guardrail who turned out to be dead.

Cops and paramedics arrived and sent the corpse off to the Clearfield County Coroner's Office for examination and autopsy.

According to Clearfield County Coroner Mike Morris the man was a 30's something Guatemalan national who had approximately $500,000.00 worth of heroin encapsulated in his stomach.

How or why John, or should I say Juan Doe, had made his way to or had been left on Route 153 is unknown, but the coroner stated that the cause of death was apparent:  One of the capsules that he had swallowed burst sending a lethal dose of heroin into his system.

Drug mules are quite common and drug packets are typically compressed to be as dense as possible, usually being placed into some kind of latex, such as a condom or balloon, which is then sealed with a coating of wax or some kind of sealant.  Most drug mules will carry about 50-100 of these packets in their stomachs, but some have been caught carrying as many as 200, which is the equivalent to five pounds of drugs concealed in the gastrointestinal tract.

The dangers of arrest and prosecution for heroin trafficking are second only to the risk of death from being a drug mule, ergo the following PSA (brought to you by HaberPA)...
