Houston, TX 911 Operator is Arrested after admitting to hanging-up on people because “she did not want to talk to anyone at that time” ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Meet 43 y/o Creshanda Williams,  That's her mug shot below...

Creshanda was arrested on October 11th, 2016 for two misdemeanor counts of "Interfering with an Emergency Telephone Call" after admitting to police that she had in fact hung up on callers because "she did not want to talk to anyone at that time".

Managers at Houston Emergency Center allegedly reported that Creshanda handled literally thousands of "short calls" (a term for 911 calls that last less than 20 seconds) between October, 2015 and March, 2016.

One of her charges stems from a recording of Creshanda, who terminated a call from a security officer who was trying to report a street racing incident, but not before stating "Ain't nobody got time for this.  For real."

In the other case (on March 12th, 2016) a man called twice trying to report a robbery. On the first attempt Creshanda reportedly answered and then simply hung up.  She answered the second call, stating "Houston 911, do you need medical attention, police or fire?"  The male caller is reportedly heard responding "This is a robbery", which prompted Creshanda to audibly sigh and then hang up.  In that case by the time that the police arrived at the scene of the robbery a person was reportedly dead.

Memo to the Folks:  The only thing worse than people who (whether intentionally or ignorantly) misuse emergency services (see below) is a 911 operator who does what Creshanda did..
