First Woman in Allegheny County, PA History Arrested for Child Porn Confesses & claims Possession was a "Coping Mechanism" ~ Call Michael A. Haber, Esq. @ 1-888-SHARK-8-1

Kaitlin was arrested after the FBI Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Cyber Crimes Task force received a "cyber-tip" that she was in possession of child pornography on her computer and her phone.  The "cyber-tip" was reportedly received in August, 2016, an investigation ensued and in December, 2016 a warrant was served on Kaitlin (at her mother's house where she resides) which resulted in the confiscation of more than 100 images of child pornography from her computer and her cell phone.



In a striking move Kaitlin allegedly confessed to police, advising them that she had actively been looking at child porn images since 2006 but that she only did so as a "coping mechanism".


Kaitlin reportedly told authorities that she looked at the photos, which are said to include both pictures of "infants and toddlers exposing themselves" and "infants being sexually assaulted", because she herself had been abused when she was young (which is tragic but likely will not spare Kaitlin from serving somewhere in between 15 and 30 years behind bars if she is found guilty).



According to a statement by the Allegheny County District Attorney this is the first time that a woman has ever been arrested on this type of a charge:  "In the 16 years that the District Attorneys Office has participated in the FBI Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Cyber Crimes Task force, this is the first time that our office has arrested a female on charges of possessing child pornography".




Memo to Kaitlin Plascjak:  I am sorry that you suffered as a child but you must realize that other children have suffered as well, including each and every one that you had an image of and viewed.  If you want to prevent such atrocities from happening then the way not to do it is to perpetuate the horror.  Just saying...
